One of the most common questions I see on RV forums is from individuals interested in going full-time and asking what everyone does
One of the most common questions I see on RV forums from people interested in trying full-time RVing is how to make money. When researching this topic, there are countless options.
#1 Start Your Own Business
For me, there’s nothing more gratifying than having and controlling my schedule. If I want to go snowboarding, I go snowboarding. If I want to take a vacation, I take a vacation. The trick to self-employment and open road freedom doesn’t only lie with owning your own business; you have to choose a business plan that doesn’t tie you down to a store. For me, internet marketing works. I can work on clients’ websites and do business development from anywhere as long as I have internet and cellular connection.
#2 Become a Consultant
Do you offer expertise in an area that has value to someone else? For example, while I am great at most aspects of digital marketing, I’m good at Search Engine Optimization; therefore, businesses pay me for my time to consult them. One of my part-time gigs is a consultant for Colorado-based CBD Oil manufacture, NuLeaf Naturals. NuLeaf is a tremendous gig for me because 1.) I get to do what I love to do, and 2.) it’s a product that I’m passionate about – and that shows through my dedication and work.
#3 Find a Work from Home Job
A simple Google search for ‘work from home jobs,’ spits out over 10 billion results. There are endless opportunities out there. All you have to do is search.
If you’re in a position to retire, do it. If you’re like me, that will never happen. I always have to be doing something and making a difference.
Lastly, there are a ton of ‘on-site’ jobs including working as a camp host, local campground RV mechanic, joining the RV Park maintenance crew and many more options.
